I received an acknowledgment email on August 1, 2025, stating that my application is under review. However, as of today, September 17, 2025, the application status still reflects as “Fresh Application” on the admission portal. I Even sent an email to my regional centre on sept. 15 which haven’t been answered yet ..
please lemme know if someone can help and what should I do !

What you should do next:
Keep Checking the Admission Status Portal:
Visit IGNOU Admission Status regularly using your Control Number or Enrollment details. Your status will update once the Regional Centre approves your admission.
Follow Up with Regional Centre (Delhi-1):
Since your email has not been answered, try calling the Regional Centre directly. If possible, visit the centre in person with your Control Number and application acknowledgment. This often speeds up the process.
Wait for Enrollment Number:
Once your admission is confirmed, you will receive an Enrollment Number via email/SMS. Only after this, you’ll be able to download your ID card and access other student services.
Timeline:
On average, it takes 4–6 weeks after acknowledgment for confirmation, but during heavy admission cycles, it may take a little longer.
